On behalf of the American people, Michelle and I want to extend our best wishes to Muslims in America and around the world. Ramadan Kareem.
Ramadan is a time when Muslims around the world reflect upon the wisdom and guidance that comes with faith, and the responsibility that human beings have to one another, and to God. This is a time when families gather, friends host iftars, and meals are shared.
But Ramadan is also a time of intense devotion and reflection – a time when Muslims fast during the day and pray during the night; when Muslims provide support to others to advance opportunity and prosperity for people everywhere. For all of us must remember that the world we want to build – and the changes that we want to make – must begin in our own hearts, and our own communities.
These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings. Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality.
And here in the United States, Ramadan is a reminder that Islam has always been part of America and that American Muslims have made extraordinary contributions to our country. And today, I want to extend my best wishes to the 1.5 billion Muslims around the world – and your families and friends – as you welcome the beginning of Ramadan. This press release has not been reported by the 'Media'. It's almost hard to believe it's true. Here is the link to the 'White House' if you don't believe me.
I have just 2 questions:
1. Since when or how is Ramadan a reminder that Islam has always been part of America?
2. When has Barack Hussein Obama went to this great extent to talk about Christians, and their love, peace and contributions to the United States?
If anyone can answer any of these 2 questions, I would ask you to leave a comment with an answer.
Americans have to vote out Obama on or before the next elections, else America would become an Islamic Nation. America wake up from your stupid slumber.
ReplyDeleteWhat have Christians given us? The Dark Ages, The Crusades, The KKK, Fred Phelps... Things aren't too good when you look at Christianty. The Christians' holy book says that children should be stoned to death if they disobey their parents. How many Americans stone their children to death? I doubt any of them. Same goes if a woman disobeys her husband. But I don't think the courts would declare that "constitutional". You see, along time ago, a bunch of men in wigs decided that "Christianity is the most perverted system that has ever shown on man" (Thomas Jefferson said that little gem), and so they decided to separate church and state. Another quote by my buddy, Benjamin Franklin, "Lighthouses are more useful than churches". You see, this wasn't meant to be a Christian Nation. Or an Islamic Nation. It was supposed to be somewhere where the huddled masses could go. The broken, beaten, oppressed people of other nations could go to find refuge. But America has become a proverbial slum of religious hypocrisy, liberal douchebaggery, and just people arguing everywhere. No one can get along, but anyone looking in from the outside sees a facade that we are a happy, loving nation that embraces diversity, because that was the message that our founding fathers wanted to send out.
ReplyDeleteIdiot. Christianity has also provided the world with the greatest universities -Harvard, Oxford, Yale, Duke, to name just a few. It has commissioned the world's greatest masterpieces of art, architecture, music, and literature. It founded many of the world's finest hospitals, as well as provided clothing, medicine, food, shelter and disaster relief all over the world, AND is more responsible than any OTHER group for providing education to WOMEN.
DeleteIf you feel The Dark Ages, The Crusades, The KKK, Fred Phelps is such a problem & Christianity.
ReplyDeleteWE DO NOT STOP YOU FROM LEAVING!
America has always been & always shall be a CHRISTIAN NATION! We do not stone any more because Christ told us that God would take care of those who did not follow what he commanded.
It is so sad to know smallminded people like you have the right to vote.
America is not a Christian nation. It is not the offical religion of the country. Read the first amendment. It says FREEDOM OF RELIGION. Please note this country was founded on many principals. One of which was that the British Gov't could control what faith people had to be, and our Founding Fathers didn't think they had a right to do so.
DeleteWhat happened to the right to free speech? That person has a differing opinion to you, and that's fine, you don't have to think the same way. But you can't tell them to leave the country because of it.
ReplyDeleteA lot of religions have done both good things and bad things, thats's the way history is. Islam IS a part of almost any nation, you have muslim people living there-Islam is a part of your nation. Accept it. Move on.
And I'm amazed you feel the right to call someone else small minded. If that's the way you feel, maybe you shouldn't have the right to vote.
Send the Anti-Christ back to Hell where he belongs
ReplyDeleteObama is helping set the stage for the anti-Christ.
ReplyDeletewe need to help him along so we can reach the end and finally have our Christ back.
No, we do not help out a man who is seeking to destroy the Church Universal and the faithful in particular... not even to usher in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Father in heaven knows the time... "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." 2nd Peter 3:9.
DeleteYes, the Bride will be claimed by the Bridegroom, and the wicked will be punished... but your mind cannot comprehend the scope of that punishment... do you really relish it for your fellow man? He did not. Jesus wept outside the gates of an unrepentant Jerusalem. Will we not do likewise?
it is very sad to see USA people vote for an anti-christ man..condolence...where is their hearts and eyes? don't they see that this man's name is an original islamic name? there are many muslim people in my country who have the identical name like him (common muslim name), it is too obvious that he maybe a muslim but not Christian...
